Uno Triple Play is a popular variation of Mattel’s classic Uno card game that comes with 112 cards in total, including unique Wild cards and Action cards that make the gameplay more exciting. The aim of the game is the same as traditional Uno – get rid of all the cards in your hand first and yell UNO!
The UNO Triple Play game is similar to classic UNO but with the addition of three discard piles instead of just one. On each turn, you get to match a card in your hand to a card on one of the three discard piles, but you can only discard a pile that is lit up. And when you discard a pile with too many cards, causing an overload, you may have to draw extra cards. However, just like always, when you’re left with one card, you still need to announce “UNO!” to win.

UNO Triple Play Cards Meaning With Pictures
Number Cards
The UNO Triple Play number cards are the cards that have numbers from 0 to 9 in four colors: red, yellow, green, and blue. They make up most of the UNO Triple Play deck, which has 112 cards. We can play the number cards by matching the color or the number with the top card of the discard pile.
For example, if the top card is a red 9, you can play any red card or any 9 card. The number cards have no special effects or penalties, unlike the action or wild cards. The number of cards is the game’s simplest and most common card.
Wild Cards
The simple wild card is one of the four types of wild cards in UNO Triple Play, a card game that uses a device that holds three discard piles and makes the game more fun and challenging. You can play a wild card with any color or number. The player who plays this card can choose the color for the next play and the simple wild card is worth 50 points at the end of the game.
Wild Draw Four Card
Wild Draw Four is one of the most powerful cards in the Uno triple play game. When played, the player chooses any color to change the current color to. In addition, the next player must draw four cards from the draw pile and forfeit their turn. This card has the potential to change the course of the game by forcing another player to draw various cards.
Draw Two Card
Draw Two card forces the next player to draw two cards from the draw pile and lose their turn. It is a way to penalize an opponent and make them accumulate more cards, reducing their chances of winning. The player who plays this card does not change the current color or direction of the play.
Reverse Card
The reverse card reverses the direction of play for all players. The direction of play changes from clockwise to counter-clockwise, or vice versa, depending on the original direction. After the reverse card is played, the next player has to start playing in the opposite direction. The current color does not change when the Reverse card is played.
Skip Card
Skip card cause the next player to lose their turn and his turn skips. The player after them starts their turn instead. No cards are drawn and the current color stays the same. It just allows you to miss an opponent’s turn.
Discard Two of the Same Color
This card lets you get rid of two cards of the same color at once. For example, if the top card of a discard pile is yellow, you can play this card and another yellow card from your hand. You have to put this card under the other card and press the discard pile once. If the other card is a special card, the next player has to do what it says. You can also play this card by itself, without another card.
Wild Clear
This card lets you empty a discard pile by putting your card on it and holding it for two seconds. The discard pile will reset and turn green. You can play this card whenever you want, but it is better to play it when a discard pile is almost full. This card is also a wild card, which means you can choose the color for the next play.
Wild Give Away
This card lets you give away the cards you have to draw if a discard pile overflows. The device will tell you how many cards you have to draw. You can give them to any player or players you want. You don’t have to split them evenly. For example, you can give all the cards to one player, or two cards to one player and one card to another player. If you play this card and the discard pile does not overflow, you just play one card and the game goes on. This card is also a wild card, which means you can choose the color for the next play.
Additional Rules for UNO Triple Play Cards (Optional)
Pass Hands Left Card
Pass Hands Left action card requires all players to pass their entire hand of cards to the player on their left. Play then resumes with the next player in the new sequence. This can disrupt the strategies of players and force new approaches to get rid of cards. The direction of play remains unchanged.
The Next Player Misses A Turn
The player who plays this card causes the following player to forfeit their turn without drawing or playing a card. The play moves on to the player sitting after them. This allows you to remove an opponent from play for one full turn. The current color and direction of play remain the same.
Everyone Pass Hands Left
Everyone Pass Hands Left is a powerful Action card that forces all players, regardless of position or direction of play, to pass their entire hand to the player sitting left of them. The exchange disrupts all players’ strategies and forces them to adapt to a new set of cards. The current color and direction of play remain the same after the pass.
Next Player Draws Four
The next player in the sequence must draw four cards from the draw pile and forfeit their turn when this action card is played. It penalizes one player and makes it harder to win by increasing their hand size with four cards. The current color and direction of play do not change.
