UNO Ultimate DC Rules
UNO Ultimate™ is a card game where you can play as a DC superhero and use their powers every turn. You can choose from Superman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, or Green Lantern and each superhero has their own deck of cards with special effects.
To play UNO Ultimate™, you need to match the color, number, or symbol of the top card of the Discard Pile with one of your cards. If you don’t have a matching card, you have to draw one from your deck. When you have only one card left, you have to say “UNO!” or you will get a penalty. The first player to get rid of all their cards, or the last player with cards in their deck, wins the game.
-->The youngest player starts the game. They play a card from their hand face-up in the middle of the table to start the Discard Pile. The game goes clockwise, unless a Reverse Card changes the direction.
On your turn, you can use your superhero power and play a card. If your card has a Danger Icon, you have to flip a card from the Danger Deck and follow its instructions. Some cards are Enemies that attack you until you defeat them. Some cards are Events that affect the game for one round.

Foil Cards

You can collect them or use them in the game. If you use them, be careful not to damage them. You can tell how rare a Foil card is by the color of the dot in the bottom-right corner. There are 5 levels of rarity: white, green, blue, purple, and gold.
Action Cards
Action Cards have special effects that can help you or hurt your opponents. You can play an Action Card on another Action Card of the same kind. For example, you can play a Reverse on a yellow Reverse. You can also play a Wild Card on any card. Here are the Action Cards and what they do:
- Draw Two: To play draw 2 cards, the next player has to draw 2 cards and skip their turn.
- Reverse: To play reverse cards, the order of play changes. If it was clockwise, it becomes counterclockwise, and vice versa.
- Skip: To play skip cards, the next player skips their turn. Enemies can’t hurt you if you are skipped. If something else tries to skip you or make you lose your turn, you ignore it.
- Wild: You can play this card on any card. You choose the color for the next card.
- Ends of the Earth: You can play this card on any card. You pick an Enemy Card from the Danger Discard Pile and make it happen again. You can get rid of it if you have a card that matches its defeat cost.
Some Wild Cards have extra effects. They are in your Character Deck. Read what they do and follow the rules of uno ultimate dc cards.
How to Play UNO Ultimate DC
To play UNO Ultimate DC, you need at least two players and up to four players. Each player chooses a character and takes the corresponding deck of cards. If there are less than four players, return the unused decks to the box.
Separate the Character Cards from the Danger Cards in each deck. Shuffle the Danger Cards from all the decks together to form the Danger Deck. Place it face-down in the center of the playing area.
Remove the Character Card from your deck and place it near you so that all the other players can see it. This card shows your character’s name, image, and power. Shuffle your remaining cards and draw seven cards to form your hand. Place the rest of your cards face-down in front of you to form your Character Draw Pile.
The youngest player goes first. Play any card from your hand face-up next to the Danger Deck to start the Discard Pile. The card you play must match the color, number, or symbol of the top card of the Discard Pile, unless it is a Wild Card.
If you don’t have a matching card, draw one card from your Character Draw Pile and play it if you can. If you still can’t play, your turn ends.
On your turn, follow these steps:
- Resolve any start-of-turn effects from Danger Cards, Action Cards, or opponent-controlled character powers.
- If you have a character power that activates at the start of your turn, you may use it now.
- Play a card from your hand to the Discard Pile.
- If you have a character power that activates based on the card you played, use it now.
- If you have an Enemy attacking you and the card you played satisfies the Enemy’s defeat cost, defeat the Enemy.
- If the card you played to the Discard Pile shows a Danger Icon, flip over the top card of the Danger Deck and resolve its effects.
- Resolve any end-of-turn effects.
The game continues clockwise, unless a Reverse Card changes the direction. When you have only one card left in your hand, you must yell “UNO!” before playing it. If you forget, you must draw two cards from your Character Draw Pile as a penalty.
