Components

UNO Triple Play has 112 cards, which are the following:

  • 19 Blue cards = 0 to 9 
  • 19 Green cards = 0 to 9 
  • 19 Red cards = 0 to 9 
  • 19 Yellow cards = 0 to 9 
  • 8 Reverse cards = 2 each in blue, green, red and yellow 
  • 8 Skip cards = 2 each in blue, green, red and yellow 
  • 8 Discard Two of the Same Color cards – 2 each in blue, green, red and yellow
  • 4 Wild cards

How to Play Uno Triple Play

To set up Uno Triple Play Card Game, shuffle all 112 cards from the Uno deck and give seven cards to each player. Place the remaining deck face down to form a draw pile and flip over the top 3 cards of the draw pile to form the 3 discard piles to start playing the game.

Review that on each turn, players must play a card to match the number, color or special ability of one of the 3 discard piles. If unable to play, they draw from the draw pile until they get a match to play. Wild and Draw Two cards allow players to change the top card of any discard pile.

Other than the additional discard piles, standard Uno rules apply. The first player to play their last card by matching one of the discard piles and following all special card instructions wins!

  • On your turn, you must play a card that matches either the number or color of one of the 3 discard piles. Or play a Wild card to change the top card of a discard pile to the color or number of your choice.
  • If you cannot play a match, keep drawing from the draw pile until you get a match to play on one of the discard piles and your turn ends.
  • Special action cards (Draw Two, Reverse, Skip) apply as in normal Uno. They played the next player affected is determined based on the discard pile the card is on.
  • When the draw pile runs out, reshuffle the discard piles together to form a new one.
  • The first player to play their last card successfully by matching one of the discard piles wins!!

Winning at Uno Triple Play

The first player to play their last card and call UNO! Loudly, by following the rules, wins the round, and the first player to reach 500 points in all rounds by scoring points wins the game. However, the points are collected by counting the cards points on the player’s hands cards. When the game reaches 500 points, the player with the lowest points is the winner.

  • Skip 20 contains Points
